New - Home Cinema Installation.
This will be added to as I get time, but for now:
The Panasonic 50" Plasma setup.

The AV unit is homemade and deliberately very heavy and strong.
The center section holds the AV equipment (more later) and the outer sections each house the subwoofers.
Each outer section comprises a very dense cabinet with two Celestion 12" FD12 drivers in each.
The Samsung 63" Plasma setup.

To gain a true idea of how much bigger 63" is than 50" I thought I'd throw in this picture:

The Samsung delivered on size, but sadly, not on picture quality. It wasn't bad, but I was expecting excellent.
Then it developed a fault, with uneven banding when showing whites. The warranty callout confirmed I wasn't being too picky and a replacement ordered. However, there weren't any more in the country and they had no delivery date, so I went for a refund.
The Panasonic 65" setup.
When I found the Panasonic at a massive discount (3D versions were being launched) I took the plunge. This cost more than the Samsung (though it does have two more inches) but the picture quality was a revealation!
Very, very happy with the result.
